Beltane Gathering : April 26th
Date: Saturday April 26th
Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm
Location: Public Park near downtown Raleigh. Location to be updated soon!
Join me to celebrate Beltane, a Celtic fire festival marking the onset of summer themes even though summer technically does not start until the summer solstice. We’ll review folklore and history, review the themes of the season through journaling and tarot, and review an herb that resonates with the themes. I’ll have an herbal beverage to share as well that highlights the season and our spotlighted herb. We will also do a craft that aligns with the holiday which is always a favorite for everyone! It is a wonderful way to slow down, reflect, embrace and align with the energies of the season, and meet a welcoming group in a lovely space. It is a form of cyclic living which I highly encourage and also teach about!
We are going to be back outside for this one so we can really connect with nature and the season. I will do this at a public park near the downtown Raleigh area. Likely Fallon Park in Five Points or Fred Fletcher Park which is closer to downtown. I will update soon with the exact location but it will be within 10 minutes of downtown at a park.
I typically recommend people bring the following:
Water, Bug Spray, Sunscreen
Cup for the herbal beverage (I will have extra available for you if you do not have one)
Journal and Pen
Anything to make you more comfortable (cushion, blanket) because we will be sitting on picnic benches
Check the weather and bring anything to make you more comfortable. We will be covered so we will still have the event in rain but if storming or severe rain with reschedule.
